1. General

1.1. These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“the Customer”) and Uniform Technology Solutions (Pty) Ltd (“UTS Deals”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

1.2. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any amended terms.

1.3. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA).

2. Products and Pricing

2.1. All products displayed on our website are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time without prior notice.

2.2. Prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.

2.3. While we make every effort to ensure pricing accuracy, errors may occur. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price and will notify you promptly.

2.4. Product descriptions and images are provided for informational purposes and may differ slightly from the actual product. We strive for accuracy but do not warrant that descriptions are error-free.

3. Orders and Payment

3.1. By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

3.2. We accept payment via credit/debit card, EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer), and LayUp (instalment payment plans), as well as any other payment methods displayed at checkout.

3.3. Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched, unless using an approved instalment payment method such as LayUp.

3.4. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including where we suspect fraud or where the product is no longer available.

3.5. You will receive an order confirmation email upon successful placement of your order. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order until the goods have been dispatched.

4. Delivery and Shipping

4.1. We offer delivery throughout South Africa. Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on your location and courier availability.

4.2. Risk of loss or damage to products passes to you upon delivery. Please inspect all goods upon receipt and report any damage or discrepancies within 24 hours.

4.3. Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on order weight, dimensions, and delivery address.

4.4. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to courier delays, natural disasters, or public holidays.

5. Returns and Refunds

5.1. In terms of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), you have the right to return goods within 7 days of delivery for a full refund, provided the goods are unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition.

5.2. Defective goods may be returned within 6 months of purchase. You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund at your choice in terms of the CPA.

5.3. To initiate a return, please contact us at orders@u-t-s.co.za or call 069 002 5855 with your order number and reason for return.

5.4. Return shipping costs for non-defective items are the responsibility of the Customer. For defective goods, UTS Deals will cover return shipping costs.

5.5. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving the returned goods and will be issued to the original payment method.

6. Warranty

6.1. All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable. Warranty periods and terms vary by product and manufacturer.

6.2. Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice).

6.3. Warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, negligence, unauthorised modifications, or normal wear and tear.

7. User Accounts

7.1. You may create an account to streamline future purchases. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

7.2. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and to update your information as necessary.

7.3. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1. All content on this website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and software, is the property of Uniform Technology Solutions (Pty) Ltd or its licensors and is protected by South African and international intellectual property laws.

8.2. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, UTS Deals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of products.

9.2. Our total liability for any claim arising from a transaction shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.

9.3. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under South African law.

10. Privacy

10.1. Your use of our Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall first be addressed through direct communication with us at orders@u-t-s.co.za.

11.2. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to mediation or arbitration in accordance with South African law.

11.3. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any legal proceedings shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
